Who runs this website
This website presents the TagBrio brand of UHF RFID tags. It is operated by the owner of that brand, called "we" in this document.
You can reach us through the contact page.
What this notice covers
This notice explains how personal data is handled when you visit this website or send a request through it. The website is written for business inquiries: it has no customer accounts, no online shop and no newsletter sign-up.
What we collect
- Details you send. The fields of a request form (for example your name, work email address and company) and the message you write, plus anything else you choose to add, such as a delivery address for a sample.
- Messages sent directly. If you write to us outside the forms, we receive what you send and the address or number you sent it from.
- Technical data. When a page is requested, the servers that deliver it process technical data such as your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page and browser information. These appear in the logs of the hosting provider.
- Visit counts. The cookie notice says what, if anything, measures visits to this website.
We do not ask for sensitive categories of data. Please do not include them in a message.
Why we use it, and on what basis
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, the bases we rely on are given in brackets.
- To reply to your request, arrange samples and prepare quotes (steps taken at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries).
- To keep a record of inquiries and follow them up (legitimate interest).
- To protect the website and its forms from spam and misuse (legitimate interest).
- To meet legal duties, for example tax or customs records if an order follows (legal obligation).
We use the details you send for that inquiry. We will ask you before using them for anything else, such as a newsletter. We do not sell personal data.
Who receives it
Cloudflare delivers the website, receives and stores form requests, and checks submissions for spam using Turnstile. Resend delivers request notifications to our team. These providers process the details needed to provide those services on our instructions. If a sample is shipped, the courier receives the details needed for delivery. We also disclose personal data where the law requires it.
The form service uses a salted hash of the submitting IP address for a one-hour rate limit. The request record does not store that IP address. It does store the country reported by Cloudflare alongside any country you select in the form.
Transfers outside your country
Our providers and team may be located in, or process data in, countries other than yours, including countries outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Where the law requires a safeguard for such a transfer, we rely on contract terms or another mechanism that the law recognizes.
How long we keep it
We keep the details of an inquiry for as long as we need them to answer it and to deal with any business that follows, and afterwards for as long as the law requires records to be kept. After that they are deleted or anonymized. The hosting provider keeps server logs under its own settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time. To use a right, contact us through the contact page and say what you want. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Security and children
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data you send, but no system is completely secure. This website is for business users and is not directed at children.
Changes
We may update this notice. The date at the top of the page shows the last change.
